Evagoras Mandrides
The People's Photographer
I'm Evagoras Mandrides, and I've been photographing weddings since 2004 from my studio in Enfield, right on the Hertfordshire border. I'm Greek Cypriot and I speak Greek, and I've now photographed more than 600 weddings.
The Twelve Apostles Greek Orthodox Church in Brookmans Park is the church I photograph most: more than 100 weddings and christenings there. I know most of the Greek Orthodox priests in and around London, and if I haven't met yours, I introduce myself before the service.
I specialise in Greek Cypriot and Greek Orthodox weddings, from the stolisma to the last dance. Flash is almost always allowed in Greek Orthodox churches, so I can photograph the whole service.
I arrive about 30 minutes before the service for family photos, photograph the whole service, then take about 30 minutes of portraits at the church and about 30 minutes at your venue. If you'd like me to stay on, extra coverage (2 to 5 hours) can include the meal, the speeches, the cake cutting and the dancing.
Closest to my studio are Potters Bar, Brookmans Park, Cheshunt, Waltham Cross, Goffs Oak, Hoddesdon and Broxbourne. I also cover Hertford, Ware, Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City, St Albans and Harpenden, and in the south and west of the county, Borehamwood, Elstree, Radlett, Bushey, Watford, Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted and Tring. Further north and east, I cover Stevenage, Hitchin, Letchworth, Knebworth, Bishop's Stortford, Sawbridgeworth and Royston.

Churches and venues across Hertfordshire where I've photographed weddings and christenings:
I haven't photographed at these yet, but I'd be glad to, and I'll visit with you beforehand if you'd like.
If yours isn't here, just ask.
Yes. My studio is in Enfield, right on the Hertfordshire border, so Potters Bar, Brookmans Park and Cheshunt are just up the road, and I cover the whole county, from St Albans and Watford to Hertford, Hitchin and Bishop's Stortford.
