Nailcote Hall, Berkswell

Nailcote Hall is a listed Jacobean country house hotel on Nailcote Lane in Berkswell, in the Warwickshire countryside near Coventry. It is licensed for civil ceremonies and takes weddings from 30 to 300 guests, with a glass marquee for the largest receptions and bedrooms so guests can stay the night.

The 13 acres of grounds include a golf course with lakes, bridges and waterfalls, and the old timber-framed house makes a lovely backdrop for portraits. At the wedding I photographed here, the ceremony was held in the covered courtyard, with the bride coming down the staircase, and the evening in the marquee.
