The Greek Orthodox Church of the Virgin Mary Eleousa is on Derby Road in Nottingham. It was built in 1882 and 1883 as Park Hill Congregational Church, designed by James Tait and John Langham of Leicester, and it is Grade II listed. Today it serves Greek and Cypriot families, Greek students and other Orthodox Christians across Nottingham.
It is a tall red-brick Gothic church with a gallery around three sides, a carved icon screen and a large painted icon above the altar, so there is room for a full church and plenty to photograph from above.
