Spring Lakes, Long Eaton

Spring Lakes is a watersports and leisure centre on Pasture Lane in Long Eaton, between Nottingham and Derby, set among lakes and woodland. For weddings it has a Lakeside Marquee seating 120, with room for up to 200 in the evening, looking out over the water.

I photographed a reception here in 2025, after the ceremony at Bridgford Hall in West Bridgford. The lakes, the open sky and the wild meadow around them made for relaxed portraits right by the water.
